The Institute is about 5 kms from the bus stand and 8 kms from the air port and approximately 12 kms form Bhubaneswar railway station.

The site is accessible by a 200 ft. wide road from NH-5 to Chandaka via. Khandagiri and Udayagiri caves - historical monuments. The Techno Campus, SOS children's village and the Kalinga Studio are some of the prominent near by the institution site.

The Institute is well connected by roads and public transport system and can be accessed by patients very easily. The land use pattern of this site is residential and semi commercial with accesses to public transport system, water supply, sewerage system and electricity and telephone lines.
